A direct request for police services can be made through our Central Communications Center either by dialing 911 for emergency response or (845) 639-5800 for non-emergency requests for service. Through our Communications Center, the Clarkstown Police Department directs all of its emergency and non-emergency patrol service and support units in the Town of Clarkstown. In addition to police related service, the Communications Center also dispatches fire and medical emergency response in coordination with Rockland County Fire and Paramedic Services; this includes Volunteer Fire Departments, Paramedics, Volunteer Ambulances, STAT Flight Services, Haz-Mat Response, etc... The Communications Center can also coordinate the response of a variety of municipal services including State, County, and Local Departments of Transportation, local utilities, Fire Inspector, and Building Inspector; we are a community service oriented Police Department and will direct any and all community needs to the proper resources. The Communications Center is also in direct contact with Federal, State, and Local Law Enforcement Agencies to coordinate with and direct any contingency.
