A: Please check our police website. Click on Level 3 Sex Offenders and you will find those living within the Town of Clarkstown. At this page you may also click on the related link to the New York State Sex Offender Registry.

A: The section prohibits, restricts or limits the stopping, standing or parking of vehicles. The section can be viewed on the Town Website by clicking on the Town Code Section.

A: You cannot pay a ticket online. You may call the Traffic Court at 845-639-5970 and seek advice on the best way for you to pay a summons.

Q: Our neighbors' dog is left outside to bark all day. The neighbors have ignored our requests that they put a stop to this problem. We have complained to Animal Control with no results. What is the next step? Can we press charges?
A: You can contact the Animal Control Officer at 639-5888 and advise her that you would like to sign a complaint against your neighbor for Section 125-4 Paragraph B of the Clarkstown Town Code for habitual barking.

Q: What are your hours for fingerprinting for employment purposes.
A: (845) 639-5897 The ID Bureau is responsible for the fingerprinting and photographing of all those arrested for crimes in the Town of Clarkstown. Civilian Fingerprinting: The ID Bureau also fingerprints Town Residents who are applying for licenses and certifications that require fingerprints. The hours of operation for the ID Bureau for non-criminal fingerprinting are on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:30am to 11:45am and 1:00pm to 2:30pm. Appointments are not required. Valid Photo ID is required, Non-US Citizens require Alien Registration Cards to process.. All information on the card should be completed but do not sign the card. The fee is $10.00 per fingerprint card for town residents and $20.00 per card for non residents. Checks, money orders or cash ( exact amount) is accepted.
