Clarkstown Tax Office Offers Many Services

 

(New City) - Clarkstown Receiver of Taxes Loretta Raimone and Supervisor Alex Gromack encourage residents to utilize the many services offered by the Tax Office.  

 

Clarkstown taxpayers can register on-line to receive their tax bills and tax receipts by email.  Additionally, residents may take advantage of the Receiver of Taxes’ extended hours during January and September.  The following are dates and times for upcoming extended hours: 

 

Daily 8:30am – 5:30pm

Thursday, September 16, 2010, 8:30am-8:00pm

Thursday, September 30, 2010, 8:30am-8:00pm

Saturday, September 11, 2010, 9:00am-12:00pm

Saturday, September 25, 2010, 9:00am-12:00pm

 

“My office is always looking for ways to be more responsive to the needs of residents,” said Receiver of Taxes Loretta Raimone. 

 

Other services offered by the Clarkstown Receiver of Taxes include 3^rd party notices, online tax payments and online viewing of a resident’s tax bill.  For residents unable to pay online, a drop box located at Town Hall’s Maple Avenue entrance is accessible 24/7. 

 

“I encourage all residents to take advantage of the many convenient services our tax office has to offer,” said Supervisor Gromack.  “Clarkstown is proud to serve our residents and we are continually looking for ways to be more accessible.”
