Town of Clarkstown Collects Supplies
for Haiti
Supervisor Alex
Gromack and the Town Board announced that the
Town of Clarkstown is collecting supplies for
the victims of the earthquake in Haiti now through January 29th.
“We are so saddened by
the complete devastation the earthquake has caused in Haiti. It
is important for all of us to join together and help the victims in Haiti during
this time of need,” said Supervisor Alex Gromack.
“The earthquake in
Haiti is a catastrophic event that has caused so much devastation to its people
and infrastructure. This collection program gives all of us an
opportunity to help those in need,” said Spring Valley Mayor Noramie Jasmine. “I am thankful the Town of Clarkstown is joining our relief efforts to help our
family and friends in Haiti.”
The donated supplies
will be distributed to local organizations in our community that are collecting
and organizing relief efforts.
The Town is asking
employees and residents to donate supplies from the following list in an effort
to help the citizens of Haiti
during this tragic time.
The list includes:

Baby supplies

Medical supplies
·
First aid supplies

Clothes
