Service to Provide Instant Availability to Resident and Business’ Tax

Clarkstown Receiver of Taxes Loretta Raimone and Supervisor Alex Gromack are
announcing a new web based system for tax collection.Clarkstown taxpayers can now register on-line
to receive their tax bills and tax receipts by email.This new service furthers the “greening” of
Clarkstown initiative that seeks to conserve paper and energy to reduce costs
and the Town’s carbon footprint.
“I am so
pleased to provide this new service for the residents of Clarkstown,” said
Receiver of Taxes Loretta Raimone.“My
office is always looking for ways to be more responsive to the needs of
residents and I encourage everyone to visit our website and sign up for this
offered by the Clarkstown Receiver of Taxes include 3rd party
notices, online tax payments and online viewing of a resident’s tax bill.For residents unable to pay online, a drop
box located at Town Hall’s Maple Avenue entrance is accessible 24/7.Additionally, Clarkstown taxpayers may take
advantage of the Receiver of Taxes’ extended hours during January and September
as well as designated late Thursday nights and Saturday hours.
“We are always
trying to make government more accessible for residents,” said Supervisor
Gromack.“One of the best ways to do
that is to continue to update our Town website to better serve our residents.”
