Clarkstown Expands Recycling Program to
Parks
(New City, NY) – Supervisor Alex Gromack and the Town Board
expanded the Town of Clarkstown’s recycling program
to include Town Parks, another initiative reflecting the Supervisor and Town
Board’s commitment to greening Clarkstown.New recycling containers have been placed at Town parks near ball
fields, basketball courts, and pools.
“We want to encourage residents to recycle and what better
place to do that than our Town Parks, where people are participating in sports
and outdoor related activities and using water and other drink bottles,” said
Clarkstown Supervisor Alex Gromack.
Residents can easily find the new blue recycling containers
at Germonds Park, Congers Lake Memorial Park, Lake
Nanuet, Central Nyack Community Center, Pascack
Community Center and Zukor Park.
