EVENT:                         West Nyack Hamlet Center Vision Plan Meeting

Supervisor Gromack and the Town Board invite all West Nyack residents to attend the West Nyack Hamlet Center Vision Plan Meeting.  The Town is sponsoring a public workshop to discuss the future revitalization of the hamlet center and create a vision plan for the area. 

 

The Town has retained the services of Behan Planning Associates of Saratoga Springs, a national award-winning land use community planning firm, to lead the planning process which will span the course of several months.  An advisory committee has been formed consisting of West Nyack residents and town officials who will assist Behan.  

 

West Nyack is expected to undergo significant streetscape improvements for the core hamlet area and the Town is seeking design suggestions from the public.

 

Supervisor Gromack said, “The June 12^th public workshop will give residents and local business owners the opportunity to voice their ideas and vision for the future of downtown West Nyack.”
