CLARKSTOWN OFFERS SUMMER CAMP DISCOUNT FOR CHILDREN

OF EMERGENCY SERVICE VOLUNTEERS AND ACTIVE U.S. MILITARY

 

Supervisor Gromack and the Parks and Recreation Commission are pleased to announce a 10% discount on town sponsored full day summer camp programs for children of Clarkstown residents who serve as emergency service volunteers or active U.S. Military. 

 

Supervisor Gromack said, “We are always looking for more ways to benefit our volunteers and this gives us a way to thank them for all of the selfless, hard work and dedication they so generously provide to our town and country.” 

 

All residents can register for summer camp in person at the Administration Building – Zukor Park, 31 Zukor Road, New City or by mail.  Space is limited so interested residents should register as soon as possible.  In person registration hours are as follows:

 

Monday through Friday                            9:30am – 4pm

Tuesday and Friday evenings                   7pm - 9pm

Saturday morning                                     10am – 12pm

 

“Our emergency service volunteers and active U.S. Military give up time away from their families and put their lives on the line to serve our great nation and protect the health and safety of us all,” said Gromack.  “This is a manner in which the town can offer a benefit for our residents who so bravely volunteer.”
