Clarkstown Facilities Offer Wi-Fi Access for Residents

Clarkstown Supervisor Alex Gromack has announced that the town has Wi-Fi access at a number of locations town-wide.  A Wi-Fi network provides unlimited, unrestricted free internet access to Clarkstown residents while they are doing business at town hall or utilizing one of our pool facilities. 

“Many businesses, airports, hotels and restaurants conveniently offer public access to Wi-Fi networks.  We are excited to offer Wi-Fi to our residents while they are using our services as well,” said Supervisor Gromack.  

Residents can access the internet with laptops and capable cell phones at Town Hall and Lake Nanuet.  There are plans to add Wi-Fi to Germonds Park and the Town’s four Community Centers later this year.  The Town is also exploring adding Wi-Fi to Congers Pool.      

Supervisor Gromack said, “People want to stay connected 24 hours a day 7 days a week.  Wi-Fi allows residents to come and enjoy our beautiful, awarding winning pool facilities, conduct business with our town departments and stay connected.”
